1. After a week of crying and feeling generally worthless and incapable, I finished my MA thesis. It’s being printed today and turned in tomorrow. The major hurdle is over, and now its a few short weeks until the master’s degree chapter of my life is behind me. Weird, but awesome.
2. Today is my 27th birthday. Huzzah!
3. Sex Worker Visions II, $pread’s second annual exhibition of sex worker art, opens Tuesday, May 1 at Arena Studios [407 Broome Street, Suite 7A]. If you’re in New York you should be there because there will be intriguing art, decorated dildos, alcohol, and Annie Sprinkle live and in the flesh.
4. Everyday Dollars, the band for which my hot boyfriend is the singer, just released their first CD. Behold, a video involving a montage of live shows:
