I am gloriously and delightfully back in NYC. I am also massively tired.
I also have a screening of The Bi Apple happening at the Anthology Film Archives at 9 pm tonight, 2nd Ave and 2nd Street. Simone Valentino and I will both be reading dirty stories.
And then, on Thursday, Sex Worker Visions II closes at Arena Studios: 7-9 pm at 407 Broome Street, Suite 7A. With free champagne. Come say hi please!
All I want to do is sleeeep. But it’s not meant to be. Instead: sugar, caffeine and working. Blergh.
My second stint in San Francisco, after returning from LA on Wednesday night, was much better and more fun and more stimulating. Also, I didn’t have a 102 degree fever, which always helps contribute to higher morale.
On this past Sunday, I even did a bit of modeling. Its been quite a while since I got nude (or even semi-nude) for money. It was exactly as I remembered it, a mix of fun, boring, and challenging. One of the modeling gigs I did was for the Barbary Coast version of Dr. Sketchy’s, hosted by Thomas Roche. Several drawings have surfaced on Flickr, like these two drawings of the same pose from different angles by different artists.
