Yesterday The Bi Apple screened at the Berlin Porn Film Festival to a packed house. I was, of course, ten minutes late, which was actually a probably since I had the DV CAM tape for the screening on me. Awesome. People seemed to like the film a lot, and I got the best/weirdest compliment on it ever during the Q&A. A dude raised his hand and said, “This film is astonishingly slow… it was great, I loved it!” Not often that you hear those two turns of phrase coupled. He then went on to say, “I felt like I was watching a sex ed film from the year 2015.”
Awesome!
Other than that, we’ve been having a rollicking good time. Late nights, weird food, lots of running around the city. Berlin is really terrific – and not just because it’s open at all hours, though that certainly warms me to it all.

I think thats an awesome compliment. Most porn, like MTV assumes that we all have no attention span and its all about quick cuts, Bi Apple definately takes its time.

When you do something new, not only do you have to figure out the right way to do it, but you also have to educate people on how to see it. It’s a long road, and not always worth the effort… ;-)
