I’m going to be in San Francisco for just shy of a week starting tonight! (yay for last minute madness).
I’m in town for business though I will be doing a little bit of socializing too.
On Sunday and Monday I’ll be attending the second annual Sex::Tech – Focus on Youth conference. I’m presenting a talk called “Sexuality Rights Online and IRL: the International Scene” at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. In the talk, I’ll be featuring the online programs of The YP Foundation from India and Sonke Gender Justice from South Africa. I’m also really excited to be co-presenting with Leandro Vieira dos Santos of Reprolatina, from Brazil. I’ll be live-blogging a lot of the sessions from Sex::Tech at Akimbo.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, I’ll be in Berkeley at the Advancing Prevention Technologies for Sexual and Reproductive Health conference. I won’t be liveblogging the second conference but I’ll write about it upon my return to my office in NYC.
If you’re in San Francisco, email, tweet, or Facebook me (apparently those are all verbs now) – and I’ll probably be too busy to see you. But it’s worth a shot anyway.
For sure guaranteed socializing is happening tonight (3/19) at the Lexington – I’m reporting there straight (heh) from SFO. I should be there around 10 pm, and there will be a gaggle of queers there, freshly stimulated from going to the Queer Pornucopia screening at the Roxy.
